About Holme Hall...
The Holme Hall estate in Chesterfield is home to council properties in the form of low rise flats, bungalows, and terraced houses. With a high level or drug misuse and unemployment the community at Holme Hall have little to no social support with no church, or public indoor spaces, and only two small shops for the entire estate. Unreliable public transport links have left local residents feeling cut off and separate from the nearby town of Chesterfield.
The Governments’s Index of Multiple Deprivation identifies Holme Hall in the most deprived decile across England, that’s the bottom 10% in areas such as housing, education, health, and employment. Only 3% of neighbourhoods in England are more deprived (ranked 974 out of 33,755 neighbourhoods).
