MEET THE CENTRE STAFF

Gemma Carneiro
Local Edge Leadership
Head of Community Impact
Gemma became a Christian as a child and from a young age has cared about broken and hurting people – particularly families and children. She is keen to see broken lives restored within her community. Gemma spent some time doing mission in parts of Africa and Brazil before qualifying as a secondary Maths teacher. Since having her first child, she left full time work to focus on family life and to be able to give her time more freely to her community. Gemma is married and has three young children. She loves to be with her family and friends, somewhere outdoors (preferably in the sunshine!) and with a cup of tea in hand!

Andrea Hutchinson
Local Edge Leadership; PA to CEO; Director of Worship; Tupton Centre Coordinator
Andrea grew up in Sweden and moved to the UK at the age of 23 in 2006. She lives in Chesterfield with her husband and two sons and is a diehard Spirite- often travelling several hours to watch away games! Andrea plays guitar and can often be found exploring what it means to worship the Lord in song, in silence, and in words. She first met Jesus in 2012 and has been raring to build His kingdom ever since, with a heart to please the Lord and help his people. Andrea oversees our work in Tupton, supports our CEO with administration, and is exploring what Edge worship looks and sounds like!!
