Edge Ministries is a Christian mission organisation that both speaks of and demonstrates the love of God as seen in Jesus Christ. Comprised of a relentlessly optimistic, fun, and entrepreneurial group of people- we’re giving it our best shot to make a difference. The main focus of our work is in the most forgotten and overlooked communities of the UK.

Our HQ is in Chesterfield, Derbyshire where we run three centres bringing about Christ centred community transformation, in Holme Hall, Staveley and Tupton. We also catalyse and pioneer mission around the UK and work with some incredible people, associates and partner agencies.

Finally, another key part of our work is communicating the love of God at festivals, missions, churches and events.

Who, what and why?

After many years of leading churches, charities and engaging in community transformation work, a team gathered with a focused vision to bring the good news of Jesus to some of the most deprived and forgotten communities in the UK.

Over time the vision became a reality as we began to pioneer work in Staveley, Derbyshire where we opened our first centre. In 2021 we opened our second centre in Tupton, Derbyshire and we are soon to open our third in Holme Hall, Derbyshire.

These centres, operated by members of the Edge Faith Community, all hold the same core ingredients but also have their own emphasis depending on the needs of the community. You can expect to find a very warm welcome as well as free cafes, advice hubs, toddler groups, community detox, free pre loved uniform shops and so much more.

From our HQ area we also help and advise our network of churches in deprived areas and their leaders as they engage with their communities across the UK. We often host leaders and teams who want to visit and learn from our work. We would love to see you!
